    I have been trying to add a video to the slider by embedding the url at the to of the page content. The video shows up but the size is very small with large black areas on the sides. How can I make the video the width of the copy?

    To see login to templebaptistlife.com/wp-admin

    name: guest13

    pass: Guest13

    then go to http://templebaptistlife.com/ministries/kids/

    thanks

    Hi Sam,

    Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    #top.page-id-2086 .slideshow_container .slideshow {
    height: 450px !important;
    }

    Which will force it to a larger size on that page specifically.

    I would suggest just using the iframe within the page content and not in a slider however as it will give you greater control for the individual page.

    Regards,

    ok… call me stupid but the iframe is not working. I tried this code in the text panel…

    [iframe width=”600″ height=”400″ src=”http://player.vimeo.com/video/63772592″]

    It did not insert the video… the code showed up on the web page.

    thanks

    I finally got this to work using this code…

    <iframe src=”http://player.vimeo.com/video/63772592″ height=”315″ width=”560″ allowfullscreen=”” frameborder=”0″></iframe>

    Is there an easier way?

    Hi Sam,

    There isn’t an iframe shortcode available so adding it to the text tab is the best way.
