Is there a way to embed an audio file in the Portfolio the same way as you can do with Vimeo?

Hey,
I'm sorry - it's not possible at the moment but you could upload the audio files to vimeo or youtube...

I would also love to be able to do this - we are musicians and hope to display our work.

You can use flashplayers like flowplayer to show your own videos. I.e. this plugin can help you: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/flowplayer-wrapper/
