    After clicking “add media” nothing happens, the page get stuck at wp-admin/post.php?post=405&action=edit#

    Same with using “Insert Theme Shortcode” -> Media Elements -> Image, after clicking on “Insert Image” nothing happens and got stuck at wp-admin/post.php?post=405&action=edit#

    I prefer not to update to the latest version of Enfold because I have quite a few php files changed in my current version and I do not want to lose them or having to re-test everything after major update.

    Please help, this is urgent – I need to post very soon. THANKS!

    Hey iotaip!

    It’s difficult for us to help you if you are not using the current version, could you try to move your customisations into a child theme and then update? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/create-a-child-theme/. Please backup your working version so that you can revert if anything should go wrong.

    What version of WordPress are you using? I’m guessing the issue is caused by your version of Enfold not being compatible with your version of WordPress.

    Thank you Rikard. I manually updated to the latest version of enfold and it works.
