Thanks for creating a great theme.
I just started using Enfold Theme, the Enfold Startup Business Demo. My hosting company says I am almost at the storage limit of 1024 MB. (1 GB) How can I reduce the size of this theme, can I remove the other demos and where would I find them?
    2) I’ve read on this forum that you can reduce image sizes but how and where? I am not a coder and this is a small business hosting account.
I don’t want to have to pay double to increase to 2 GB. Is there another way for storage space to be lighter?
    3) Also, Is the separator line needed between each section of theme, is it there for a reason or can it be deleted? It creates a black slash between sections. Thanks very much for any help.
PS The theme is not even live yet, it’s in maintenance mode.

    Hi Teri!

    1. Enfold should only take up around 30MB. If your using a lot of pictures then it’s possible that could take up 1GB depending on how much you have and their sizes. Are you using any video? Video takes up a large amount of space.

    2. You can reduce the thumbnail sizes in the functions.php file starting around line 100 and then run this plugin to regenerate them, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/.

    3. Your using the color sections correct? When you edit the color sections there is an option for changing the border styling. By default the top border will have a single line.

    Best regards,
    Elliott

Yes, server space was due to a large uploaded video, which was removed. We’re ok now on that.

Image size reduce the size of thumbnails to what size? I did a test in Google Page speed and they recommended reducing image
sizes, but to what size -is needed, I don’t know. I haven’t touched php code before.

    3) Yes am using color sections, I removed the single line under each section were necessary.
    Thanks, Elliot very much.

    Hi!

You could try a plugin like WP Smush to get file sizes down: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/
