Hi there, I’ve just done a fresh install of WP 4.5.3 and Enfold 3.6.1, via FTP.
In the Avia Layout Builder the page content loads continuously.
Interestingly it does work for a new, fresh page, but then doesn’t save properly.
I’m wary of posting issues here which I see are quite common, but I’ve tried everything suggested throughout these support forums to fix, and a couple of different browsers, to no avail.
I’m also seeing a console error – “… /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)”. Again – seen this around the forums here, with the cure being to reinstall everything. This is happening on a fresh install.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Cheers, Jake

Did you verify that the file actually exist on the server? Otherwise you wouldn’t get a 404 error on it.
Best regards,

July 11, 2016 at 11:09 am #659152Hi,
I’m unable to add layout builder element and save/publish a test page privately due to security settings on your site.
I don’t see the console error you mentioned on my end it may be due to caching issue Please try to hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome devtools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” and review the site again.
The only Error in console is the google maps error which started after google made few changes to the API. Kriesi is working on it and we will soon release an update.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Best regards,

July 12, 2016 at 11:32 am #659745Hi,
Could you please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Thanks,
RikardJuly 13, 2016 at 4:13 pm #660486Hi Rikard, thank you. I have done as you suggest and the problem still persists.
I have also tried installing fresh downloads of WP and Enfold on another subdomain, to see if that helped – and alas the same problem occurred there – info below in case you wish to see.
Appreciate any further help you can offer.

July 15, 2016 at 4:31 pm #661424Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. I’m not sure what to tell you to be honest, if the file exists on the server you shouldn’t get a 404 error on it, but you are. Could you try contacting your hosting provider to see if they can see why you are getting that error maybe? Please post FTP login details here privately as well so that we can have a look too.
Regards,
Rikard -
