    Wordpress 4.5.3 Enfold 3.5.3
Have created a clean enfold child using the .zip and instructions here including import parent settings.

The child theme menu and body are using an incorrect font and colour that have not been specified anywhere in the parent or child settings so I cant find anything to fix.

Parent main content Open Sans 14PX #7d7d7d
Child main content shows the same in the theme options but actually renders Sans Serif 14PX #719430

Parent Menu Open Sans 18PX #ffffff
Child menu shows the same in the theme options but actually renders Sans Serif 14PX #719430

    Help please.

    Hi Hans!

Please update Enfold to the latest version and lets see if the issue has been fixed or not.
We can not debug it like that, I am afraid.

Please let us know if we can do anything else for you.

    Regards,
    Basilis

Updated to 3.6.1 and the problem still persists. There is nothing in the child theme except the default files from Enfold child Zip.

Visual of the problem here http://www.matter-center.com/enfold-child-inheriting-strange-styles/

Had this problem since we started with Enfold some months ago over three version upgrades. Need to make some functions and style mods so want to use the child. See private section/email.

Good news, this must have been a transient issue. After ignoring the style issues and persisting with the child theme to add some unrelated form/popup capability the unwanted font and styles have reverted to normal. No longer an issue.

PS after a day of messing about trying to get popups working from a button with prettyphoto and magnific, the less well documented answer is simple: use CSS Classes from “add_theme_support(‘avia_template_builder_custom_css’);” with nearly any WordPress popup addin.

I know this is an old topic, but I just had the same problem using Enfold 4.1.2. I also found a “fix”. I had to go into Enfold -> Advanced Styling. Then I simply deleted one of the customizations and recreated it, and that put everything back to normal (even the other customizations under Advanced Styling). Not sure why, but I’m also not sure if this was fixed. I’m getting ready to update to 4.4.1……..but hopefully this will help someone else!
