Hello. I have read this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/messages-from-contact-us-widget-are-bounced-by-yahoo-and-google/

I am having the same problem, as I imagine many others may be. I can make up fake email addresses and the contact form works fine to send to my Gmail account, but if I enter a Yahoo email address, I get nothing. Here is an article explaining it on Yahoo’s end: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2141120/yahoo-email-antispoofing-policy-breaks-mailing-lists.html

Here is my splash page: http://www.transthriving.com

My client wants to be able to share this link at a city-wide event this coming weekend, so I would like to have a fix for this. I don’t care if the “From” field in my email client (Gmail) displays something other than the sender’s email address; I just want it to allow senders who have Yahoo email addresses to be able to submit the form.

    Thanks!

    Hey!

Have you referred to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/my-contact-form-is-not-sending-emails/?

    Best regards,

Yes I have looked at that page.

Please understand… I have tested this form, it is currently set up to forward to my Gmail during testing. I can make up fake email addresses and it works. I can send from Gmail address and it works. I can send from other addresses and it works. But it does not work with Yahoo or AOL addresses, as I suspect this is that Yahoo/AOL DMARC issue.

How do I work around this? I tried that WP SMTP plugin, but it isn’t changing the “From” on the messages I’m receiving through the form. The “From” still comes from the email address that is entered on the form. I am not running any other plugins on this site.

    Hi!

Enfold ist just using WordPress standard contact form, so if this does not work for you try a plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/

I am have the exact same issue. Using the avia contact form, messages get sent reliably to all of the many emails I have tried EXCEPT my client’s Yahoo address. Can I get any help with this other than switching to contact form 7 and having to style it to look like your nice contact form? Thanks Much.

    Hi,

    again, try this: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/my-contact-form-is-not-sending-emails/

If this is not working for you and your server, then you need to work with Contact Form 7 I’m afraid.

    Best regards,

    Hi, it’s 2019…
is there a fix for this in the meanwhile?… any updates?
    I’m using 4.4.1 version… and it’s still not registering any yahoo based emails… :(
had to find out the hard way when customers started complaining.

    Enfold Contact form is great.
Would be a pian to switch to Contact Form 7 and start to customize everything jus to have it look like yours.

    Looking forward to your reply.
    Thanks. Appreciate your time.

    Hi avrisar,

You can try to use an SMTP plugin to use with the contact form. Have you tried it?

We will help you adjust the look of the form in case you decide to switch to CF7.

    Best regards,
    Victoria
