Hi,
I have just purchased and downloaded Enfold and uploaded it to WordPress, however whenever I try to edit a page or pretty much do anything, it freezes and I get a message telling me that the server is not responding. I then can’t log back into my WordPress site for several minutes.
I have tried deleting Enfold, downloading it again and installing it fresh, but the same think happens every time.
When I switch to a different theme, everything works fine, so it definitely seems to be an issue with Enfold. Can someone please help ASAP?
December 21, 2015 at 2:37 pm #555923Hey slhicks!
Please try to increase the allocated memory to 128M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
You can contact your service provider and they can do it for you. Also, please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps.
Best regards,
YigitDecember 21, 2015 at 3:58 pm #555978My service provider has increased the wp-config.php to 1000MB and I have no plugins activated, and I’m still experiencing the same problem.
December 21, 2015 at 4:01 pm #555982Hi!
Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and FTP access and posting them here privately so we can look into it?
Best regards,

Which browser and OS are you using? Please try using another browser check if that helps. Also, please try disabling browser add-ons if you are using any.

YigitDecember 21, 2015 at 5:20 pm #556049Hi!
I could add an iconbox element without any problems, so everything seems to work fine to me. Can you check on another computer as well please?
Cheers!
AndyDecember 21, 2015 at 5:28 pm #556054I’ve just tried it on my old PC laptop and it seems to be working OK, so I’m guessing it’s the Mac OS X that’s causing the problem. I will try upgrading to the latest El Capitan 10.11.2 and see if that has any effect.
December 21, 2015 at 5:36 pm #556063Hey!
I checked your website on OSX 10.11. Andy is using Mac as well. So i believe it is not related to OS but updating may help :)
Regards,
YigitDecember 22, 2015 at 12:02 pm #556472Updated the OS, but still having the same problem. I don’t understand what it is about my iMac that could be causing this to happen. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
