    Hello,

    I would like to remove the word /portfolio-item/ from the url and just have /the-page-name/.

    Can you provide insight on how to do this?

    Thanks,
    Judd

    Hi digitalcomplexion!

    Unfortunately, you cannot remove the whole slug name on the url. You can only change it on Enfold > General Settings > Portfolio: Enter a page slug that should be used for your portfolio single items.

    Josue mentioned that this plugin works: http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-permalinks/

    Hi!

    @muslimmedical
    : If you have the Enfold 2.6 version, you can change the portfolio permalink on Settings > Permalink > Portfolio Entry Settings > Portfolio Items Base.

    Hey!

    If you want to list the categories (instead of the portfolio pages) in the breadcrumb you can use the code I posted here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/breadcrumbs-with-portfolio/

    Hi!

    Tbh I’m not sure if there’s a plugin which can do this. You can try to use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-permalinks/ to set a custom permalink for each portfolio entry but it won’t add the category to the permalink automatically.

    Cheers!

    Hi!

    You can change the general setting in the WordPress Settings>Permalinks. That is where the theme by default has portfolio-item set. Just make sure you follow the WordPress rules on page slugs and that there are no conflicts with the slug you set and any other slug on the site.

    Regards,
    Devin
