I created a new category: Stuffed Animals & Plush Toys. How do I make sure my new category appears when I hover over main menu? I went to Appearance>Menu and I when I searched to add my category to the menu, it did not show up. As a default to the theme you will see Women. I would like to create categories like this and have it appear when I hover over the Shop menu at the top. Thank you!

    Hi lloufield!

If you go to Appearance -> Menu, you select the menu you have as main and then, from the accordion at the left, pick the Categories and after ALL, so you can see all of them and pick the one it matches your style.

Let us know if that is enough

    Cheers!

Hello I did go there and all that is listed are: News, Personal, Uncategorized. It is not showing any other categories that I created. Please help. Also how to create a way for users to hover over shop and they can search by brand or category? Or once I am on the Shop overview page? Thanks!

    Hi,

Please go to Appearance–>Menus and click Screen Option in the top right hand corner or the screen, you can select to show your product categories there.

    Hi Rikard!

    It worked!!!! Thank you.

How do I allow users to allow search by Brand. So now they can hover and search by category, but I would like to have them be able to hover and see Brand. Do I create new category to label a brand? I only have products and some categories created at the moment. Thank you for all of your help!!!

    Hi,

Sorry for the late reply, glad my tip worked :-)

I’m not sure about your other question though, could you try to explain a bit further maybe? I would try asking the same question on a WooCommerce forum as well I they would likely be better equipped to help you out,

    Best regards,
    Rikard
