    Hi

    Here’s one I made with the Church sub theme: http://www.calbr.org/
    This one is from the One Page Portfolio: http://marthamhall.com/

    I thought the sub themes were just arrangements of standard elements with fonts and colors to create a certain mood. But now I think the elements behave a little differently. In Church I can’t get the icons to have the radiating circle animation on hover. Also I wouldn’t know how to make the 2nd color section on the page overlap the first color section as on almost all my pages. Am I right? Also in church are you giving Event Calendar some styling to go with theme? I don’t recall it looking so nice before.

    Thanks, Rob

    This client wanted something truly unique for their upgraded site.
    Short Sugar’s Pit Bar-B-Q
    I have to say, I enjoyed this one.

    @jonmnight

    As a BBQ fan, I was interested in checking out the site you posted. However, I don’t get the site at all. What is that URL? A store #? Maybe it’s just that I need to see the full site. Clicking on Classic does nothing. Also, there is an icon/image broken at the top.

    https://shortsugars.com

    just checked it and it shows up in my firefox and chrome. the mobile site is not done with enfold, as they wanted an “app” appearance for mobile. on mobile you will never see the enfold site, even if you click “classic” link at the bottom of the page (which btw thank you for reminding me i need to eliminate that link). i should have been more specific, sorry.

    @Chris

    sorry guys, i checked with Short Sugars and discovered they have limited access to the site from overseas. If you’re in the US you should be able to see it.

    if not, i took screenshots of the homepage, directions page, and blog page which are linked below. Full width slider above is not shown. Neither are the videos below. The small boxes right and left rotate recent blog posts by category. again, sorry about the confusion.

    Im not a professional web developer.. This theme is easy to work with, so I used it to make our business website.

    what do you think ?

    #661816

    I think you’ve done a great job on making a very clean looking, professional site behroozhei!

    #663355

    @jon & https://shortsugars.com/
    Well done, you’ve made a modern well-designed theme look like a website from the 90’s. I’m impressed. I didn’t think that would be possible.

    #663571

    Thank you! That is exactly what the client wanted. This client is a 3rd-generation family owned restaurant with a local reputation of being old-fashioned (think 1950s). They are currently performing a “hand-off” to the next generational owner. Their original site was very static, very intentionally “old” looking and they were somewhat afraid to venture too far from that. They didn’t even want the slider to… you know, slide.

    I agree with your assessment of the end result. I wanted to show it here as an example of exactly how far you can go to meet your client’s wishes using Enfold. Working closely with the both the new owner and his father, I was able to translate their compromises onto the screen in a way that satisfied them both, as well as leaving options open for future expansions such as ecommerce without a major rebuild.

    This client is extremely satisfied with their site. All their customer feedback has been positive. The site has brought me two new clients who referenced that site. In the end, these are the best measures of success in my world.

    Hello guys ,

    First I would like to thank Kriesi and the developers who are working on this theme. It has come such a long way since the early version of the theme. I installed this theme way back 2013 and newer and better features keep on getting added on each release making this theme even more amazing.

    So here it is , my new personal site. It’s almost done just needed to some small css tweaks and text content.

    Update – I just talked with my domain host regarding the downtime. He said if there’s a problem there would be a notice. Could it be wordpress or enfold ?

    I didn’t use any 3rd party plugins , and the css code is nothing too complex. Just color changes.

    Hi Yigit, can you recheck the site now ? Must be some server issue or downtime. I didn’t do any custom php , just a few css tweaks and I deleted everything in my server and started from scratch in this project.

    Hi,

    just finished this website for an Austrian musician: http://www.gerald-etzler.at/

    It was first started with a theme the customer chose which looks nice but was unbelievable inflexible. Therefor I rebuild it with Enfold.

    best regards
    Tashi

    @tashi-11
    wow, this is very, very beautiul!!!

    #668977

    thank you for your kind words, Chris!

    #668983

    Hi Tashi,

    Very nice site, how did you do the nice Google calendar? with CSS? as it is not a plugin, or?

    Best, AB

    #669006

    Thanks Anma,
    Calender is done with EventOn Basic.

    Best, Tashi

    #669046

    Yes @tashi-11 that site’s a beautiful work of art. How did you build/design those animations on cd covers and even more amazingly the spinning cd animations on the playlist pages? Very nice work.

    • This reply was modified 7 years, 7 months ago by GaWebDev.
    #669055

    Thanks GabWebDev, animation on cd cover is just css, icon from fontello. Spinning cd on playlist needs javascript. And it’s always nice to work with really good photos and a gifted designer in combination with Enfold.

    Hi,

    @tashi-11
    I liked the animation on the CD images as well!

    @spectodesign
    Nice site! Menu looks very pretty :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    #669931

    amazing. @spectodesign how is it possible to make the menu transparent? or yigit? :-)

    #670030

    Tobiy,

    For the website at Specto Design Los Angeles we simply set the menu opacity:

    #mobile-advanced {
    opacity: 0.95;
    }

    #670041

    hey, already found out! :-) thank you very much! The effect is amazing. And iam so curious because its so cool and i want to learn: can you please explain me how you created the gradients? This is just css, isnt it?

    #670050

    Agree that it’s very striking and kinda fun to figure out what you did. Is it a slider and a headline rotator size by side with a css gradient background and the slider column set to hide on narrower screens? Also a very nice concept to have one killer element and the rest of the site super simple and clean.
