    Hello,
I use WPML to translate pages from english (default) to french. Worked well, pages in french were same as in english, etc.( FYI: french is added as a parameter, NOT a directory)
Until I wanted to change a few things in the header options (secondary menu to the right). This resulted in all my post & pages in french being displayed with a silly by default ugly layout that has nothing to do with the english one.
So I deleted all french pages, to start a new translation from duplicated english pages. But the same thing happened.
English is ok. French is not (and french is added as a parameter, NOT a directory)
It’s maybe a permission issue (755)? In which case where do I change that, as it’s ok for the english version, but not the french?
How can I just copy-page the enfold setting of the english version to the french one?
What can I do to have t style & layout & fonts of the English pages being applied to the French pages?
site is: http://www.corporate-legacy.com but you won’t see the french pages as I cannot publish them (they are messed up)

    Hi Jenny!

Can you please firstly update Enfold to the latest version 3.1.1 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Cheers!
    Yigit

    Hello Yigit,
Update done (via WP) as suggested.
Should I see any change? If yes, it’s not the case… I still have the same problems.
    :-(
    What should I do Yigit?

    Hi!

Go to the English Enfold > Import/Export panel. Click the Export Theme Settings File to download the theme options. Switch to the French theme options, go to the same panel. Import the theme settings.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hello Ismael,
I am sorry to report your suggestion did NOT work.
Although the correct font names, colors, etc.. are set on the french panel (like before actually), they do not show on french pages.
Actually no matter what is set as Font, for exemple, it always stays the same. Same with the header color, same with the menu etc.

note 1 : when I add fresh page in english, it’s all OK. When I turn it into french via WPML, it’s all messed up. And the other way around, if I add a page in french, it is messed up, but when I turn it in english via WPML, then it’s all good.

note 2 : it used to work ok a week ago before I moved the flags to the right via ENfold panel

note 3 : I have just uninstalled WPML properly as they said on their website, cleared the database, reactivated. STILL the same issues.

note 4 : right permission is 755 everywhere

It’s pretty urgent, do you have an alternative solution? What should I do?
Should I send you my ftp and/or wp credentials?
