    Hi-

I have 2 websites using Enfold. I cannot update version of either with updater. Theme update says I have current theme at 3.0.4. Manual update takes me WP update page, which I have updated to 4.4. Both API keys seem to be correct.

    Thank you

    Hi!

The check manually button is not working for you? If so then try this out, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-update-to-3-4-1-i-dont-get-theme-update-on-theme-dashboard/#post-534145.

It’s not letting me login, is the information correct?

    Regards,
    Elliott

I was able to update one site (focusedenergyprocesses.com), but not the other (03b92ca.netsolhost.com/autoflow).

Check Manually button hasn’t worked. I installed and ran Clean Transient plugin, but that didn’t help either. I am using a Child Theme.

    Hi!

In that case, please try updating the theme manually via FTP – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. Auto-update feature should work after that.

    Hi-

I have not succeeded in updating my Enfold theme on my site that uses a Child theme.
    What I have done:
    1. Tried updating through dashboard. Didn’t work. Theme update says I am up-to-date with version 3.4.2
    2. Checked manually, no update available there. (WordPress is up to date.)
    3. Downloaded and activated Transient Cleaner. No effect that I can see.
    4. Downloaded Enfold 3.4.7 and activated it. All my site content went away.
    5. Reactivated Enfold Child Theme, which restores my site, but Auto-update still doesn’t work.

I am not very experienced with WordPress and Enfold so it could be something very simple I have messed up. I have been through your support forum and tutorials at length, but haven’t been able to solve this problem.

    Thank you for your help

    Hey!

On #4 you said you updated Enfold to the latest version, 3.4.7, but when I view your link it still says your using 3.4.2?

Also, you said that when you activated it that all of your content went away? That is normal. You’ll want to keep your child theme activated as all of your settings are saved under the child theme.

    Hi-

I still cannot update my theme.

In my dashboard I have 3 Enfold Themes: Enfold Child, Version 3.4.7, and version 3.4.2. I have my Enfold Child theme activated showing my website. When I click on 3.4.7, all my contents goes away (as you say is normal). When I click back to Enfold Child, I am back to version 3.4.2.

I have ready everything I can find on your forum and tutorials but I am clearly missing something obvious and probably simple.

How do I update Enfold and keep the content I have?

I am at my wit’s end and appreciate any enlightenment you can provide.

    Thank you

    Hey!

Delete all copies of Enfold from your WordPress theme directory and then download + upload a fresh copy from themeforest.

    Hi-

I have a Child Enfold as well as Enfold 3.4.2 and 3.4.7 in my WordPress theme directory. The current theme has a delete button. The Child and 3.4.2 do not.

I went to my site files via FTP and uninstalled what I thought was 3.4.2 but lost all the content on the site. I restored from a backup but now I am back to version 3.4.2

I don’t understand how to set up the Child theme so that I can upgrade without loosing my site.

Is there someone who can check my file setup?

    Thank you

    Hey!

    1. Login to your server via FTP and navigate to your WordPress theme directory. Delete all copies of Enfold that you see except your child theme.

    2. Download a fresh copy of Enfold from themeforest and upload it to your WordPress theme directory via FTP.

    3. Activate your child theme.

If you only have one copy of Enfold in your WordPress theme directory then you do not need to set the version in your child theme stylesheet.

    Cheers!
