    Hi Support Team,

    currently I have Enfold Version 2.5.4 installed – my website http://www.dagmars-bodyshop.com works correct.

    As soon as I try to update to Enfold Version 2.7.1 it get´s messed up all over. I installed the new Version on a test site: http://www.test83080.test-account.com.

    I tried to update Enfold via the Update function in the admin panel (not working at all) and direct transfer of the Theme by FTP.

    I can not get it to work

    Hi aneubaue!

    When you installed on the test/demo version what are your steps for installation? Do you have any plugins active while doing it?

    actually yes – I have the following plugins active:

    woocommerce – sofort gateway integration
    woocommerce adminbar zusatz
    woocommerce checkout manager pro
    woocommerce deutsch
    woocommerce german market
    woocommerce print invoice/packing list
    woothemes helper
    wpSEO

    I just connected to the server with filezilla and tried to copy the latest Enfold version into the themes folder (with some errors).

    Around 22 items could not be transfered (I have no idea why).

    So I am wondering, how I can update to the latest version of Enfold

    The errors are likely the cause of the issue. Try deactivating all active plugins before copying over the theme files or for a more direct approach delete the theme before doing an update by uploading the whole theme folder again.

    Hey!

    Before we do anything I would first suggest talking to the hosting provider. They will be able to identify any permissions issues preventing files from being written over.

    I know I’ve had an issue similar to this a long time ago when my WordPress install was adding in content as root and no ftp user had equal privileges.

    ok – I contacted the support team and keep you advised. I am still wondering, because I am the only administrator of the site and I was able to delete other themes like twentytwelve, etc.. without any problems.

    Hi Devin,

    I solved the problem; obviously the child theme caused them and I deleted a few rows of code not necessary any more
