error 404 on my portfolio items

I set the URI scheme for my portfolio as "library" (not used as category or page name) however when I try to open any item from the portfolio page it will show a 404 error page. Please help to solve this problem. Thanks

Hey,
1) Please try to flush the permalinks. Go to Settings > Permalinks and click on save. Also check your permalink structure.

2) If that doesn't help please check if a plugin messes with the permalinks.

I change my page to a different format, i will look at this in the future if I need the portfolio.. Thank you for your answer
