Hi, I want my socket (black background) to expand to the browser edges. I was able to make it expand down, but not across.
I used a background image to make the orange line at the top of the page expand to the browser edges, but am not sure what to do for the socket.
Here is a link: http://www.bcradvertising.com/test/home/
I really appreciate any help. This is a great theme!January 14, 2013 at 5:55 pm #103444
I’m not really sure if there is anything that can be done. If you used a background image, the only way to attach it to the bottom is to use a fixed image. Which would keep the black in place no matter where you were on the screen.

I am already using a background image on the top of the page so that the yellow lines expand to the browser edges. It is not possible to add a second fixed background image for the bottom of the page is it? If anyone else can help I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!January 14, 2013 at 9:03 pm #103446
You could yes, what I’m saying is that if you did (and made it fixed) it would then sit there even when scrolling through the rest of the page which wouldn’t look very nice.January 14, 2013 at 10:35 pm #103447
Yea that will not work. Thank you though. Hopefully someone has a solution!January 15, 2013 at 3:17 pm #103448
I was able to add a footer that bleeds to the browser edges, but there is a problem with it in the iphone/ipad. When you click on a portfolio item (http://www.bcradvertising.com/test/portfolio/) the footer appears at the top above the Ajax screen that pops up.
the code I added was to the footer.php at the bottom after end wrap all:
</div><!-- end wrap_all -->
<div id='footerbleed'>What I added</div>
The CSS I added is:

I don’t have an iOS device to test it, but what you have there wouldn’t actually get you the full width footer anyway since its after the container.
As I said originally, I really don’t see it as a possibility without removing the footer from the main container. At that point though, you would need to re-do all of the media queries for responsiveness and make sure the ajax effect isn’t effected.January 17, 2013 at 10:22 am #103450
I am sorry if I misunderstood, but looking at your code. Your footer has an empty text widget it looks like (i suggest you upgrade to the plugin: enhanced text widget http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/enhanced-text-widget/ for more control).
Do you mean the bottom menu and the copyright info appears above the ajax portfolio item? I am having problems on ipad3 ios5,x replicating this. Does it occur with all ajax portfolio items?
