    Hello,

    I was just wondering how to use an uploaded picture as a menu item. The picture will be the right size and every but im not sure how to link it.

    For exampe: Home | About | Blog | Gallery | (picture) | log in

    And the picture is a music not for example.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Inspect the Music menu then look for the unique menu id. After that edit custom.css or Quick CSS and add this code

    #menu-item-687 {
    background: url(../images/layout/overlay-video.png) no-repeat center;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    width: 52px;
    height: 52px;
    bottom: 25px;
    position: relative;
    }

    #menu-item-687 a {
    border: none;
    }

    The unique id of the menu item that I test it with is #menu-item-687. You should use the Music id instead. Width and height will depend on the image that you are going to use.

    Sorry it has just replaced the wrong button.

    How do I find out the menu item id?

    And what is the shortcode to like it to a url?

    Thanks

    Hi ameliaamelia,

    Just change the css from Ismael to:

    #menu-item-687 a {
    background: url(../images/layout/overlay-video.png) no-repeat center;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    width: 52px;
    height: 52px;
    bottom: 25px;
    position: relative;
    }

    #menu-item-687 a {
    border: none;
    }

    That will keep the link active but still allow you to replace the text with an image.

    Regards,

    Devin
