Hi, I translated all the strings with Codestyling Localization - but the changes I made in the events calendar don't apply at all.

I had a similar problem. I recommend remove built-in events calendar folder (config-events-calendar) in theme folder (incarnation) and install original The Events Calendar plug-in: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/

Hey!

Yes, probably that's the best solution - otherwise you'd need to include the all Event Calendar text strings into the theme translation file.
