    When viewing the site on an iPad, the header is offset to the right, so there is a white space between it and the menubar. If I change the overflow background color, this changes the background color throughout the page.

    Is there another way to fix this? You can see a screenshot of the issue here: http://d.pr/i/CK92

    Thanks!

    Hey Heather!

    Can you post the link to your website so we can inspect elements on it?

    No problem! It’s http://www.balletred.com/dev/

    You don’t see it when the screen is large; only when it’s about iPad and iPhone sized. :)

    Thanks,
    Heather

    Hi!

    Please add following code to Quick CSS

    @media only screen and (min-width: 990px) and (max-width: 1139px) { #top.left_sidebar #header { margin-left: 280px; }}
    @media only screen and (min-width: 768) and (max-width: 989px) { #top.left_sidebar #header { width: 430px; margin-left: 218px; }}
    @media only screen and (min-width: 480px) and (max-width: 767) {  #top.left_sidebar #header { margin-left: -29px; }
    #header .main_menu { padding: 30px 0 0 20px; }}
    @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) { #header .main_menu { padding: 30px 0 0 38px; width: 280px; }}

    Cheers!

    Yigit, that didn’t seem to fix the issue. I emptied cache and checked in Chrome and Safari, but I’m still getting that white space at the top.

    Thanks,

    Well, I’m in a bit of a rush to launch the site, so I did a temporary fix for this issue by putting a background image in the overlay section. It’s not perfect b/c the black part doesn’t line up on smaller phone screens. But it’s much less distracting than the white strip.

    thx,
    Heather
