Extra widget area for page: showing only the extra widget, not all!

Hi,

I have defined an extra widget area for a page:

... and put only 1 item in the widget area (in my case: showing some specific page lists).

Although, it shows at this page not only my special defined widget area, but below the other widgets, that are on all other pages, too:

What can I do, so that when I use "extra widget areas for pages" at the defined pages only this one are shown and not all other widgets that are defined for all pages?

Let check I understand you correctly, you only want your new widget area to show up on the "kunstlinks" page?

If so, open up sidebar.php and change this:

//sidebar area displayed everywhere
if (function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') && dynamic_sidebar('Displayed Everywhere '.$sidebar)) : $default_sidebar = false; endif;

to this:

if(!is_page('kunstlinks')) { // if page is NOT "kunstlinks" then display
//sidebar area displayed everywhere
if (function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') && dynamic_sidebar('Displayed Everywhere '.$sidebar)) : $default_sidebar = false; endif;
}
