If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I have two issues:
1) When hovering over the call to action button on the front page, a facebook icon displays before the click.
2) There are widgets displayed in the footer position, but they don’t exist in the widget area in the admin (INTERESTING LINKS, PAGES, CATEGORIES)
1) The problem is caused by the modal-login plugin. Please deactivate it or ask the plugin author to make following code more specific:
background: url('images/social-networks-style3-sprites.png') no-repeat;
at the moment it affects all buttons on a website and not only the “social buttons” of the plugin.
2) Yes, they’re so called “dummy widgets”. If you add your custom widgets into the footer columns they’ll disappear or open up footer.php and replace:
if (function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') && dynamic_sidebar('Footer - column'.$i) ) : else : avia_dummy_widget($i); endif;
if (function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') && dynamic_sidebar('Footer - column'.$i) ) : else : echo ''; endif;
to remove them.
