Hello, let me start by saying that this template is terrific… Really great looking and easy to set-up!

The only part that Im having trouble with is getting the faceboook “like” and pinterest widget on each lightbox image. Here is a link to an example lightbox that i’d like to feature the 2 items… http://paulagirshman.com/photography/wp/?portfolio=nepal-2#!lightboxauto_group1/1/

    1) How do I activate the 2 features?

    2) I have 30+ images in each portfolio and would like the “Like” or “pin” option to exist for each one. If that is possible please let me know which file I ned to edit and how.

    Thank You!

    Hi Paula,

I’m not sure the lightbox is able to support a “Like” and “Pin It” button. I’m going to flag the rest of the support team. If it can be done then one of them will know how.

    Regards,

    Mya

Thanks Mya. The reason wI thought it possible was looking at the prettyphoto demos http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/#prettyPhoto …each of the images in the demo has a tweet and facebook widget which is what i’d like to do. (plus the pinterest)

    thanks again!

    In js/avia.js replace:

    elements.prettyPhoto({ 'social_tools':'','slideshow': 5000 }); /* facebook /light_rounded / dark_rounded / light_square / dark_square */

    with:

    elements.prettyPhoto({ 'slideshow': 5000 }); /* facebook /light_rounded / dark_rounded / light_square / dark_square */

PrettyPhoto does not support pinterest at the moment.

    thanks so much, worked great!

another question: is is possible to have the “like” be associated with each image? right now when i click the like botton it shows the entire portfolio rather than that single image. I suspect each image needs its own “like” link but I’m not sure where to edit this.

    Hello,

You might want to use plugins such as FB Like for wordpress. The plugin uses a unique shortcode. You can drop that shortcode somewhere on includes > loop-portfolio.php.

This link might help on how to use do shortcode on a template file. http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_shortcode
