Hi-

Is there a way I can change the background color of the Facebook Social Plugin like button. I would like to have it match the side bar in my Habitat Dark version where it matches the side bar color and is not pure black so that it blends better.

Hey,
very likely yes because the code part "&colorscheme=dark" indicates that there're some others available. Maybe this page: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ can help you.

Hi -
I saw that. There are only two colors available (light and dark) and the "dark" is too dark. Can you recommend some code to change it in CSS where I could get it the same rgb color as the dark Habitat theme side bar? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I doubt that you can style the button with css because it's an iframe (that means that the button is loaded from the facebook servers directly and only they can style it with css. As long as they don't offer "self hosted solutions" or php configuration parameters for color values you can only use their presets/templates.
