    Hi,

    Please try this plugin. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/addthis/

    Featured images are set via Gallery Options. The first image you upload will be used as Featured image.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    In your header.php, try adding the following:

    if ( is_home() ) {
    ?><meta property="og:image" content="url-to-image" /><?php
    }

    Just after:

    echo "<title>$avia_page_title</title>";

    Then edit the url-to-image with the url location of the image you want to be shown as the homepage image when linking to the site in facebook.

    Try to replace:

    <title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?> <?php is_home() ? bloginfo('description') : wp_title(''); ?></title>

    with

    <?php
    if ( is_home() ) {
    ?><meta property="og:image" content="url-to-image" /><?php
    }
    ?>
    <title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?> <?php is_home() ? bloginfo('description') : wp_title(''); ?></title>

    Dude,

    thanks but does not work….

    #120019

    You need to set the image you want to show. The text in that code “url-to-image” is where you put in your own link directly to the image.

    Devin,

    I have change it:

    ?><meta property=”og:image” content=”http://ginbrin.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/LogoBrin.png” /><?php

    not working…

    Thanks!

    #120021

    I’m not sure what else we can do then. It is most likely just a delay in facebook recognizing the thumbnail but aside from setting it directly like that with Facebooks own code, we are pretty limited in effecting their ability to read the data (in how they advise developers to do so).

    Regards,

    Devin

    Thank you Devin!

    I will survive :)
