    Hi Kriesi,

    We’re working with enthusiasm with your Flagship theme. Unfortunately, the slider on the homepage is changing to ‘moving’ in the smallest size (mobile) version of the website while it’s set to ‘Fade’.
    in the original screen size the slider shows up fine!

    How can we prevent the slider changing in the smallest responsive size?
    Thanks in Advance for your support!

    Cheers, Maarton

    Hi Maarton!

    Unfortunately, because of compatibility related reasons, it is not possible to change to fade slider on mobile.

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit,

    That’s unfortunate… Is it, as an alternative, possible to stop de slider on mobile? Show only one image?

    Thanks and best regards,
    Maarton

    Hi!

    Please add following code to Functions.php file in Appearance > Editor

    function add_custom_script(){
    ?>
    <script>
    jQuery(window).load(function(){
    	   if (jQuery(window).width() <= 990){
    	jQuery("ul.slideshow.fade_slider").attr("data-autorotation", "false");
    }
    });
    </script>
    <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_footer', 'add_custom_script');

    Regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit,

    Nice thought!
    I added your code to functions.php but unfortunately it doesn’t do the trick…
    the slideshow is still looping on mobile devices.

    Best regards,
    Maarton

    Hey!

    Try to use the wp_is_mobile() function to detect mobile devices. Open up wp-content/themes/flagship/includes/helper-slideshow.php and replace:

    $data .= "data-autorotation='".$this->autoplay."' ";

    with

    if(wp_is_mobile()) $this->autoplay = 'false';
    $data .= "data-autorotation='".$this->autoplay."' ";

    Regards,
    Peter
