I need some help. I’ve been using Flashlight for about 7 months now and everything was going great. I’ve updated to your most recent version about 2 weeks ago. Everything seemed fine, but now I can’t upload images. I have clients that need to see their images, so it is crucial that I get this fixed.
I get this error:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/christin/public_html/wp-includes/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) .php on line 309
My images that I was trying to upload were around 1mb or less. I’ve tried deactivating some of my plugins as some forums say that might help, but it does nothing. HELP!

You can try increasing the amount of allowed memory for wordpress. There is a good article posted here that goes through a few different methods for it: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/

I am not code savvy AT ALL, so I contacted my web host. They reset the memory limit to different levels until they got to 120, and finally it worked…for awhile. Now I’ve uploaded 5 image files and get this:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in /home/christin/public_html/wp-includes/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) .php on line 309
Fatal error: Call to a member function setImagePage() on a non-object in Unknown on line 0
The web host said he can’t see anything wrong on their side, and it must be something with my web template. I didn’t have any problems before I uploaded the new flashlight update 2 weeks ago. I really need some help here, and I don’t know anything about code, so I need it in easy terms please.
Thanks for your help!

Are you wordpress 3.5.1? Do you have any other plugins installed?
Another thing to try is to completely re-download the theme files again and then update them once again in case there was an issue with the last update where not all of the files were updated correctly.
Any additional plugins should be completely deactivated while updating and trying out the image uploading in case something is causing a conflict and the errors.
If you could also make me a temporary admin account i’ll log in and take a look.
You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn’t grab it :)

I am using 3.5.1. I just deleted and tried to reinstall Flashlight, and it doesn’t work. It says:
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.
So, now I don’t even have the flashlight theme up. I added you as a administrator, and I send you an email now with the info.

As we discussed via email, after I got the theme re-installed the issue seems to be just trying to load in too many images at once. Most server can only handle a handful at a time and the bigger the image the harder it is to process so the fewer you are able to do at a time.
