I guess this shouldn't be difficult.
The user could choose, for a specific category or post, if he wants 0, 1 or 2 side columns.
I already found something about it ( http://wordpresshero.com/tricks/different-single-post-pages-in-wordpress.html/) and could start trying but I would prefer that it would "come from factory" so that when there are upgrades, I don't have to track and redo a lot of work.
What do you think of this?
