I am adding new products and for some reason the featured image doesn’t fit. All of the other products that I created previously are fine! even if I duplicate 1 of the products and put in the product pic and select tumbnail its still larger than the space! Please help:
http://printshop.paperboyja.com – the product that is giving issues is the business cards!

Update on this…. all of the product images are doing it now. None fit in correctly and I have used regenerate thumbnails.October 3, 2012 at 11:22 am #92420
I am guessing that you want the entire business card to show just like the B001, so the entire card fits but doesn’t become blurry. First thing is, you need to turn the crop off, since you want the images to be proportional. Right now you are forcing a width and a height which is causing the images to be cut off as they are now.
Somewhere you set 274 width and 274 height and selected crop (or 284 possibly)
1) in backend, please go to settings > media and make sure the little checkbox is *off* next to the label ‘ Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)’
2) Please open functions .php at root of the theme, and you are using a 3 column grid with no sidebar so please find this line, should be line 31
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio3'] = array('width'=>290, 'height'=>150); // medium preview pic for 3 column portfolio
and please change it to
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio3'] = array('width'=>274, 'height'=>274, 'crop'=>false); // medium preview pic for 3 column portfolio
