    I want to use the featured image only as a thumbnail on the home page with the extract of the blogpost. I don’t want it to show on the post page.

    There are 2 reasons for this:
    1. Its disappointing but the thumbnail re-sizing does not work well. The image needs to be resized for use for the featured image, else you get a distorted image for the thumbnail.
    2. I want the full image to appear on the blogpost page with left or right alignment wrapped with the content. Currently.the featured image appears on the top left – and the post appears after it. Since I want to use a larger image with left/right alignment wrapped to the content, the image appears twice.

    Here’s how the website post page and home page look when a thumbnail is posted.

    Please help. Also it would help if you could direct me to a detailed guideline on how to use the thumbnail image feature on the theme.

    Hi upaay!

    You can easily remove the image – open up single.php and delete following code:

    		echo '<div class="entry-previewimage rounded preloading_background">';
    		echo $preview_image;
    		echo '</div>';
