Featured image on widgets

   Hello,

   I am using some videos as featured media on posts. When these posts are appearing at widgets, the featured image for the post is appearing empty.

   Is there a way to change it for a play or a default image like that?

   Hi there,

   I suppose I can add a featured image and after that the featured media. Then I will have to link the image to next slide, but I cannot see this option without adding a button in advanced options (I don´t want the caption and the button)

   Is there any way to link the featured image with next slide (where the video will be)?

   Hey!

   I am not sure if I understand the second question but what you can do is: first add a video url in the backend. you will notice the video reel image beside that url. you can now click on that video reel image and add a preview image that when clicked will display the video.

   Kriesi, I'd like to make the combo widget look like in the Sentence theme. Like this, with the video/link/regular post icons: http://imgur.com/dzjv6

   The combo widget in Angular leaves an empty box whenever you don't feature an image. I guess this is also what silviall meant. Maybe a simple update even?
