    Hi, I’m having the same issue as the one featured in this thread – http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/issue-with-blog-post-thumbnails/ – the fix for which does not quite meet my needs unfortunately

    I’m looking to achieve roughly the same thing
    – Add image to post that shows as thumbnail
    – Stop image from displaying as giant slideshow at the top of the post

    I however, need to retain the header area with breadcrumbs etc that is unfortunately stripped out as soon as I engage the slideshow

    Hi tacularmatt!

    Please try adding following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab

    #top.single-post .fullsize .single-small.with-slider .blog-meta, .big-preview.single-big { display: none!important; }

    If that does not work, please post the link to your website

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit,

    Unfortunately that didn’t work – The website’s not live yet so I can’t post link to it, also, I’m using Choices rather than Enfold

    Hi!

    Sorry my bad, please try adding following code instead

    .single-post .slideshow_container { display: none!important; }

    Regards,
    Yigit

    ah, that’s almost it but it also takes out the page title and breadcrumbs…is there any way to keep it in?

    Hi!

    Do you have any other custom CSS code added in Quick CSS section? I enter the same code on my Choices installation and it only removes featured section from single posts :/

    Regards,
    Yigit

    Nope, nothing in quick CSS

    Ah, sorry, my bad, it has worked, I just forgot to purge my caches before trying it again

    EDIT

    Sorry, my mistake, only appears to be working on one post and the only difference i can find between them is the post is private

    EDIT AGAIN

    Fixed it but I had to insert it display:none into layout.css, and set the slider option to fit to adjust to page layout – works for me as I’m not using the bundled slider
