Is there a way to have a featured video for every category as well as have small videos below? Also, what do you recommend for sorting/filtering categories? Like if a user wants to only see "nature videos" or "rock videos" etc... or newest videos, etc... Is there a plugin that works well with this theme that will do all that?

Hi Mlah384,
You could create a different page template for each category using the Template Builder. Use the blog element to display the posts and a slideshow element to display the main video above the rest of the posts below.
