Hey folks. This is three issues I’ve been struggling with, all about the slideshow in Choices.

1: I’ve been seeing several solutions posted for this, but I can’t get them to work. I simply need the slideshow to have a set height. The slideshow currently is too large, and enlarges the pictures I put in it.

2: I would like the slideshow not to react when someone hovers the mouse over it (no zoom icon)

3: When the slideshow is clicked it should go to a set URL for the image rather than enlarging the image.

I do hope you can help!

1: You will find slideshow height in functions.php

2 & 3: Dead easy: Go to Portfolio items/portfolio entry then click SHOW for the image/images and then to Apply link to image.

    Hi Wyko,

Just to expand a bit on #1, which slideshow are you having issues with?

    Regards,

    Devin

Devin; I’m looking at the Fade Slideshow on my front page.

And Lars; I think the solution you posted works for portfolio items, but I’m just looking at the slideshow on my front page, at http://www.getgeek.org. Thanks!

To clarify a bit more; I made a dynamic template for my front page and the first element is a sideshow. I figured out how to edit the height with Lars’ advice, but the rest still stands.

Different but same: Your slide show is on a page. Go to that page and click SHOW on the featured image/images and then find Apply link to image.

    My thanks to you.
