    As requested, I’m making a new thread to follow up with this one: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/widening-blog-posts-grid-problem

    The Questions were…

    1. How do I increase the padding between the body text and the separator to the right of the flag and post information?

    2. How can I move the flag and post info a little further to the left?

    3. I’d like to put the date below the flag with the rest of the post information. Is that possible? If so, how?

    I got the answer to #1 and #2… sort of. I only received information on how to do these things on a Single Post and not on the blog page. The information that followed, I assume is for moving the date. I followed the instructions and it moved all of the blog post text on the Blog page below the flag and post info.

    I’d like the blog page as well as single posts to look the same. Thank you so much for all of your help. I’m sorry to be such a pain. :(

    Hi TheAlluringArtist,

    Yes, and thank you. Like I mentioned in this post tho… Some of the instructions aren’t working. After following all of the steps, here’s what I get for each question:

    1 # 2: The code worked great… for the SINGLE posts. The problem still needs addressing for the actual blog PAGE.

    Blog Page: http://thefreakygeeks.com/blog/

    Single Post: http://thefreakygeeks.com/2013/02/fifty-shades-of-stupid/

    3: The post content text gets all piled up under the post information & flag and the typography changes to that of the date.

    For the spacing, the css will be:

    #top.blog .three.units.alpha.blog-meta {
    margin-right: 20px;
    margin-left: -50px;
    }

    You could try leaving off the individual page type selector so that its sitewide as I don’t think there are any other specific instances of that selector combination which would beL

    #top .three.units.alpha.blog-meta {
    margin-right: 20px;
    margin-left: -50px;
    }

    That would just apply it across the whole site.

    For the date, the code has to be done for each of the format-*post type*.php files.

    Look for:

    echo '<span class="blog-author minor-meta">'.__('by ','avia_framework');
    the_author_posts_link();
    echo '</span>';

    change it to:

    echo '<span class="blog-author minor-meta">'.__('by ','avia_framework');
    the_author_posts_link();
    echo '</span>';
    ?>
    <span class='date-container minor-meta meta-color'><?php echo get_the_date(); ?></span>

    Make sure to delete the following a bit further down so you don’t get two dates:

    <span class='date-container minor-meta meta-color'><?php echo get_the_date(); ?>

    Then you’ll need to add some new css to position it:

    .template-blog .date-container {
    font-size: 11px;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    position: relative;
    top: auto;
    }

    Example for the format-standard.php: http://pastebin.com/0CRdcNiq

    Devin
