Love, love, love the theme – you guys know your stuff, and it’s a pleasure to work with Flagship so far.
We’ve got something quite special planned for this theme, and here’s our question:
You allow us to change the colour of the page background in the the backend, but we are needing to to use a background image for this area. The idea is that the header area will use the upper part of a landscape scene, and the main page area will use the lower part of the landscape scene – so the two images join to form one large background image for the whole page. We will use a different version of the upper part or different pages – i.e. a cloud has moved, for example. Hope this makes sense.
Basically, we need to be able to use a background image for the main page area, rather than just select which colour we want.
Is this possible, and if so – how? We have tweaked the css files with no luck so far.
Thanks a million guys – and we can’t wait to show you what we do with the theme!

We don’t want to rush you, but our timeline is quite tight for this project – we’d appreciate it if you could hit us back whenever you can.
Also, not sure if my question was perfectly clear – we can place an image in the main page background, but the problem is that the top of the background image must not start at the top of the page – but it must start below the header area/image. Hope this makes sense!

I am not sure if thats what you want but you could actually add this to your custom.css stylesheet in folder /css/ or to the quick-css panel located in your wordpress backend at flagship->styling:
That way the custom image at the top would be able to stretch full size accross the screen and you dont have the need to upload two different images. Is this what you have in mind?June 14, 2012 at 1:39 pm #76291
Hi Kriesi…super Tipp mit dem CSS Code!
We need a other way. :-)
We need a way to bring a texture or a picture in the Background.
Header image1 and in the background image2 (png Pattern or other stuff)
Can you tell as a way?June 14, 2012 at 2:47 pm #76292
