If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I have an image slides and video slides rotating in the slider on the Welcome page. I have the youtube video embeded at 1280 x 720 and my images uploaded at 1280 x 720 but flagship seems to be using:
$avia_config = array(‘width’=>990, ‘height’=>360 ); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider
…as the default for the homepage image. What is the best way to make the video and images appear the same size?
Past Reference Issues:
It would be better to crop the images(using image editor) first at 990 x360px size. This would make the images in the slider look consistent and you can adjust the cropping of the image.
No this does not work as the height of the page changes between a video and an image when rotating the slideshow.
I would like the images to display at the same size as the video (990 x 557px). Please provide a way to optimize image size displayed.
I’ve tried inserting the image as an iframe, but it does not come in the correct size as it auto includes a border and scroll bars.
<iframe width=”990″ height=”557″ frameBorder=”0″ src=”url” ></iframe>”
