    Not sure what I did, but today my website is loading with a 5 or 6 second flash of unstyled content where the cufon fonts go. I think something is slowing down the js but have no idea how to go about improving/fixing the problem.

    Can someone please point me in the direction of a fix?!?

    Hey, for anyone wondering, you can hide the ugly text while loading such as:

    .cufon-loading h1, .cufon-loading h2, .cufon-loading h3, .cufon-loading h4, .cufon-loading h5, .cufon-loading h6 { visibility: hidden !important; }

    But there’s still a pretty good lag on the load that wasn’t there yesterday. Not sure if there’s anyway to speed it up or not.

    Maybe you installed new plugins? Like the audio player?

    @nvanhoose did you just put this in style.css? I am getting a lag of un-formatted cufon text showing before the page fully loads too.

    Yes – you can put this in any stylesheet. I’d use css/custom.css.

    Hey @d4web. Yea I just stuck it in the custom.css style sheet. I think the lag can be greatly alleviated with a good caching plugin. I know theres a few mentioned on the recommended plugin thread of this site.
