    Hello,

    I bought the theme yesterday and it seems really nice and well-thought out. However, I ran into a few issues, and I’m hoping you can help. :)

    I’m planning to use this theme on my existing clothes sites once I figure out how to use it a little bit better.

    1) Shop menu isn’t working properly in Firefox:

    - it reduces space available for content a lot (it only happens in Firefox)(http://www.fringues.co/boutique/test-test-test-test2-2/)

    - submenu items appear on top of each other, or below the left-side menu (try going over the HOMMES menu, and submenus)

    2) what do I need to do for Woocommerce’s layered nav widget to work on on shop pages? I added that widget to the “shop overview page right” widget but nothing is showing.

    3) how to show breadcrumb links at top of product page/category page?

    4) Is there a way to have a mega menu like on abundance?

    suggestions:

    on product pages, the dropdown menu for variable products; Available sizes/colors should be in black, or in color that’s different from non-available colors/sizes

    Hi,

    1) Try to add following code to css/custom.css:

    .template-shop-single .product {
    overflow: none;
    padding-top: 20px;
    }

    2) As far as I know you can use this widget for archive pages only – see: http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce-docs/user-guide/layered-navigation-widget/

    3) Flashlight doesn’t support Breadcrumb menus out of the box. You can try to use third party plugins like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/ or http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/installation/ for this task.

    4) No – I’m sorry.

    5) I’ll report the suggestions to Kriesi.

    Hi Dude,

    thanks for your help!

    1) I added it into Flashlight Theme Options’s Quick CSS box, and it did not fix the issue…

    2) http://www.fringuesusa.com/boutique/ I’m trying to replicate what’s there, on the right side column. It’s a shop page as far as I can tell? How can I get the layered nav widget to appear in Flashlight?

    thanks!

    hello?

    Hi Bresso,

    For #2, thats a text widget with shortcode added into it.

    Try changing the overflow: none to overflow: visible so the final css will be:

    .template-shop-single .product {
    overflow: visible;
    padding-top: 20px;
    }

    Regards,

    Devin

    1) How about the submenus which appear all out of place? See shop menu at http://www.fringues.co/boutique/test-test-test-test2-2/

    2) I meant below the text widget, obviously. May you PLEASE let me know how to add the layered nav widget to the right part of the shop/archives page?

    thanks!

    1) How about the submenus which appear all out of place? See shop menu at http://www.fringues.co/boutique/test-test-test-test2-2/

    2) I could add it only by selecting “Do you want to display a right sidebar by default?”. Selecting my shop page in “Select a PAGE that should receive a new widget area:” did not work. Is this a bug?

    3) how can my product use all available space (or at least normal product space + right sidebar)? http://www.fringues.co/boutique/test-test-test-test2-2/

    thank you for your help

    hello?

    Hi bresso,

    Sorry for the delay but each time you responded it actually pushed the response to the back of our queue (it goes by oldest response).

    For the sub menus on the product page, you’ll need to open woocommerce-mod.css in the woocommerce-config folder within the theme files. Search for:

    /*second level*/
    #top .sub_menu li ul{
    display: none;
    position: absolute;
    width:170px;
    padding:10px 0 0 0;
    z-index: 101;
    left:-50%;
    border:none;
    }

    and delete the line “left:-50%”

    Yes, you will need to select display right sidebar by default in order to display the sidebar on the shop page to which you can add widgets.

    For #3, I don’t know what you mean. If, you mean to make the content area expand to fill the entire window that isn’t something we can provide as it would change too much of the structure of the site and would probably cause more issues that would need to be adjust individually.

    Regards,

    Devin
