I have uploaded the updated files and they fixed the slider problem for the wordpress theme, but the titles for excerpts in the archive view (example: by category) does not show up.

It seems like your cufon.js file is still the outdated old version. Download the code for the latest version here: http://cufon.shoqolate.com/js/cufon-yui.js?v=1.09i and replace the entire content in cleancut/js/cufon.js with the new code.
