    Hello,

    I’m still having a minor issue, regarding font spacing. Basically, I have the right font size everywhere, but the problem is I would need to decrease spacing in the sidebar (“about” text, and spacing between link names) and in blog info (category, comments, etc… to the left of the blog picture).

    The problem is I first determined a font-size of 14px for the entire body, in custom css. Then, I determined a font-size of 12px only for sidebar (also in custom css). The result is my font sizes are right, but the spacing in the sidebar is still on 14px level.

    Maybe there is one code-name for the blog&page-text alone? That way I could distinguish main text from smaller texts (sidebar).

    Regards,

    Miguel

    Hi,

    Please provide a URL to the location where this event is taking place. Since there are so many ways to customize this theme, and with a number of updates already released, -there is no sure way for us to provide you with a reliable answer without first looking at the code.

    Your best bet is to mask the link using http://www.goo.gl or show a page on the demo site which displays the behavior. A labeled screenshot hosted on imgur.com or else where would also be helpful in ensuring success. However. a screenshot alone is not very helpful since we need to see the html/css/js code particular to your situation in order to provide a meaningful solution.

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for helping out. Here’s a link: http://goo.gl/8l5ld

    So, in a few words: I want to increase font-size, only for Pages and Posts (to 14px, instead of current 12px which seems too small). My problem is that this will affect the spacing in the sidebar as well, if using code for the “body text”.

    Also, if you can advise me on increasing width of the theme, that would be very helpful. I guess with a 14px font-size the current width will be too narrow.

    Hi,

    Please add the code below to /css/custom.css OR to Quick CSS located in Corona > Theme Options > Styling Layout … the text area on the bottom of that page.

    To change size of page from 960 to 1150px

    .container {
    width: 1150px;
    }
    .content, #top .fullwidth .template-blog.content {
    width: 760px;
    padding-right: 50px;
    }
    .sidebar {
    width: 300px;
    }

    To change the font size.

    body {
    font-size: 14px;
    }
    .sidebar {
    font-size: 12px;
    }

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Thank you, Nick. I also had to change “.template-blog .entry-content”, for the post text to be nicely aligned.

    Still have one problem though. When I switch to boxed layout, the contents “touch” the border. I’ve been trying to introduce a left & right margin, but I can’t fix it.

    However, if I remove the custom code entry, then the borders are ok.

    Hi,

    Please provide a url to a page where this is happening. I dont see this on the link you gave earlier.

    Thanks,

    Hi Nick,

    It’s the same url, but you didn’t see it since the background was white. I now switched to dark background, so you can see it.

    Thanks,

    One more thing: When I update my custom css, the Corona layout settings (boxed, dark background) are undone. When I update the background, then some custom css settings are removed. I’m trying to figure out…

    #128241

    I fixed that bug. It’s only the matter of the margins now.

    Hi,

    I dont see it still and both sidebars and center area have margins so they cant be touching. However here is the css and move things around in a way you need to:

    You can change 30px to 35px , that will move right sidebar as far is it will go right.

    .sidebar {
    padding: 0px 0 10px 30px;
    }

    this move the center column , just change the number to 520 or 540 or something in between

    .template-blog .entry-content {
    width: 530px;
    }

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Sorry, now it is visible. I would like to preserve the current width of sidebar and post/page area. But with the standard margin I had before.

    Thank you,

    It tried the code, without success. When I update the custom css, the layout switches back to “Stretched”, instead of “Boxed” (grey background).

    It also seems as if the layout isn’t centered anymore, like before.

    Thank you,

    Hi,

    Now that I can finally see what you were referring to here is the css code that will do the trick. If margins are not enough you can make the number bigger.

    .boxed #wrap_all {
    width: 1150px;
    }

    Thanks,

    Nick

    #128246

    Thank you, Nick. One last thing. It seems the margin at the right side (sidebar) is somewhat wider. How can I control this, so left and right are identical?

    Thanks,

    Poirot

    Hi,

    Please use this

    #main {

    padding: 40px 0 40px 22px;
    width: 98%;
    }

    Thanks,

    Nick
