    Hi there

In Chrome and Safari I get an issue in (below) the footer. There seems to be an extra space below the ‘footer_outside’ div. Any ideas how I can rectify this? The following is below the ‘footer_outside’ div and when I delete it with Chrome dev tools it solves the issue.

    <iframe src=”about:blank” style=”height: 0px; width: 0px; visibility: hidden; border-top-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-width: initial; border-color: initial; “>This frame prevents back/forward cache problems in Safari.</iframe>

The issue isn’t there in Firefox by the way and I think it’s related to the Formidable forms I have on these pages. I really need to use the forms so I can’t remove them so I need a work-round! :)

    Hope you can help

    Thanks loads

It’s a bit strange because the style attributes “visibility:hidden and width + height 0px” should hide the iframe.

Try to add “display:none !important;” to the style like:

    <iframe src="about:blank" style="height: 0px; width: 0px; visibility: hidden; display:none !important; border-top-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-width: initial; border-color: initial; ">This frame prevents back/forward cache problems in Safari.</iframe>

If this solution doesn’t work please post a link to your website so that I can investigate the css :)

Thanks for this – didn’t work sadly. I don’t think it’s the fault of the theme. It’s got something to do with Recaptcha integration. Have a look here if you get a moment: https://groups.google.com/group/recaptcha/browse_thread/thread/3e47d7af7f774e65/adc094cf2a64ab3d?pli=1

It’s certainly a weird one! If you have any other thoughts that would be great.

    Thanks loads

I’m sorry – I don’t have another idea – it’s a bit strange though – a person in the thread you posted above used the display:none attribute and it worked for him so I don’t see a reason why it doesn’t work for you…
