Footer Widgets disappear in dashboard

Hi, hope you can help..

I have widgets appearing in the four footer columns in Avisio. When I went to edit them, the widgets have disappeared from the Appearance/Widgets dashboard area - so can't be edited.

Can you tell me how to get them back?

Widgets in the 'Displayed Everywhere' and 'Sidebar Blog' areas are unaffected. Emptying cache didn't help. I use Firefox but the same problem appears in Safari and IE on two different computers.

Thanks for your help and apologies if this has been covered before - I have searched and read but unable to find the same problem.

Hey,
did they disappear completely or just from the widget area? If they can be found on the left side just drag'n'drop them back to the right sidebar (widget area). I don't know a how to recover the changes which where made to the widgets' settings though.
