    Things are starting to come together nicely now. One last problem to iron out.

    On the portfolio page I have a table with the pedigree for the dog in question you can view a sample here:

    http://shente.org/?portfolio=shentes-sentimental-journey

    I’m trying to get ride o the lines around each cell, have a single broader around the whole table and make the font size smaller. I have tried inline css for the table. Creating a div, the table is in, adding an ID to the table and adding css to the style.css

    like this:

    #pedigree {

    font-size: 7pt;

    text-align: left;

    border-style: solid;

    border-color: black;

    border-width: 1px;

    }

    I even tried a class

    .pedigree table {

    font-size: 7pt;

    text-align: left;

    border-style: solid;

    border-color: black;

    border-width: 1px;

    }

    It simply stays with the original format. Any suggestions? Is there something in the css that I”m not seeing thats over riding it?

    Hi,

    You can add the following to #pedigree:

    border-spacing: 0;

    I”m still getting lines around each cell. How can I remove them?

    nm, got it. I was putting it all in style.css instead of style1.css

    Glad that you solved the problem :)
