I need some help trying to set up free shipping correctly.
I am looking to only process orders of 100 euros upwards and not to charge a delivery fee.
Orders under 100 euros I don’t want to accept.
Is this possible to set up?
I think this best asked on the WooCommerce forum. From what I researched though you will more than likely need to buy/download Table Rate Shipping which is an extension for WooCommerce that gives you more advanced shipping options.
If you want to double check on the WooCommerce forum go to the page below and click the “Free Download” button. Once you do, you’ll be given the option to register for a free account that should give you access to their forum.
Thanks for your response.
I’ve actually just figured out that if you put in free shipping and minimum spend it just will not process orders of anything less than this – it then reports the following:
“Sorry, it seems that there are no available shipping methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.”
Is there anyway to customise what this says so it says – “Order can not be processed must be over 100 euros” or something along those lines?
This would do the trick.
You can find it on plugins > woocommerce > templates > cart > totals.php. Just find this code
echo '<p>'.__('Sorry, it seems that there are no available shipping methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.', 'woocommerce').'</p>';
and replace it with this
echo '<p>'.__('Order can not be processed must be over 100 euros.', 'woocommerce').'</p>';
