    ok – so it seems that i bought sentence, without realizing the intended limitations of the theme to be a blog. I was looking at many other themes and thought that they all had the template builder – my bad. unfortunately, i need to make it work for a site.

    I would like to use the slideshow for the front page; so i have it setup to use a sticky post (that works), but I would like to remove the date stamp, the linking to the post on the title and the image icon that appears at right of the title.

    I figured out most of it… but I can’t seem to find where the padding/margin is defined to the left of the post title…

    1) i figured out how to strip the date out of the blog entries by commenting the meta info in the include files; this is what I commented out…

    <div class=”one unit alpha blog-meta”>

    <div class=’side-container side-container-date’>

    <div class=’side-container-inner’>

    <span class=’date-day’><?php the_time(‘d’) ?></span>

    <span class=’date-month’><?php the_time(‘M’) ?></span>

    </div>

    </div>

    </div>

    2) i removed the linking here…

    <h1 class=’post-title offset-by-one ‘>

    ” rel=”bookmark” title=”<?php _e(‘Permanent Link:’,’avia_framework’)?> <?php the_title(); ?>”><?php the_title(); ?>

    <span class=’post-format-icon minor-meta’></span>

    </h1>

    …now this

    <h1 class=’post-title offset-by-one ‘>

    <?php the_title(); ?>

    </h1>

    but I can’t seem to find where the padding/margin is defined to the left of the post title. is it a class in a style sheet somewhere? can anyone help me out?

    thanks in advance

    Hi browncl,

    I think you can define the margin/padding by adding this code in your Quick CSS:

    h1.post-title {
    margin: 10px;
    padding: 20px;
    }

    Just adjust the margin/padding value. You can add the !important code to avoid the code from being overwritten. Hope this helps. :)

    Ismael,

    That did the trick… !important being the key.

    thank you.
