If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I’d like to have my front page to look like the demo page, http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=flashlight, which there’s a blog-meta on the right sidebar.
Can you please advise?
Go to Pages and edit the page that you set as the Frontpage. On the right side you should see “Layout Options” below it you should see this option: Choose a Page Layout. Set the value to “Mini Content Area”.
Hope this helps. :)
No, that doesn’t. :(
Maybe I wasn’t clear about the the result that I’d like to. I’d like to have my frontpage has “Date & Category” show on the right sidebar as it is on “Homepage with content area” on the Demo site. Any suggestion?
Try to add a “Date & Time” Widget to your right sidebar widget area, that should do the trick.
Thanks alexq. I think that should do the trick too. But I believe Flashlight theme itself already have that integrated to the template as I saw it on the demo site on “Homepage with content area”. I think it must be some sort of page setting that I couldn’t get it right.
