I was wondering of anybody could help. Is it possible to have some posts full width on newscast? Researching these forums I heard about the Custom Post Template plugin but trying to installing keeps serving up errors.
Any code I can insert into css?

You'd be better creating a Custom Page Template - use template_fullwidth.php to get started and add your query string before this code:
