    Hi Enfold Team,
    best theme ever!

But I am not able to fix a insecure content warning that the browser shows.
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://base.energy/temp/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘http://base.energy/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/BluePixel.jpg’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

    See https://base.energy/temp/

Avia Layout builder -> Add Fullwidth Easy Slider –> Slideshow background image –> Causes Insecure mixed content warning

There is absolutely no problem with other images / Pages on the entire site, only the background image of the Fullwidth Easy Slider causes the warning.

    Hope you can help,

    Simon

    Hi Victoria,

The mentioned plugins did not work, but with another plugin called “SSL Insecure Content Fixer”

In the plugin settings I had to set the level of fixing to “Content” to make it work.

    So the problem is fixed.

Anyhow, the issue only occurs with Fullwidth easy slider when setting a background image, maybe you can forward this to whoever programmed to probably make it work without an additional plugin.

Thanks for your time and all the best from Vienna, Austria!

I’m having the same issue with just two images on my site (both are transparent PNG logos).

The SSL Insecure Content plugin only fixes it on the “Capture” setting which I understand can impact performance and also can break parts of the site.

Why is this happening in the first place?
Any suggestions on how it can be avoided/fixed without this solution that may cause other issues?

    THanks!
    E

    Hi sdigit,

Are you using https under Settings in the WordPress menu? If you do and that is not the problem, then maybe you could try to upload the images again and use those instead?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
