    Hi Qcor,

    Have you tried using an image that is at least 360px high?

    Alternatively, you can add the following to your css to force that pages featured image area to be smaller (320px):

    #top.page-id-1380 #featured {
    height: 320px !important;
    }

    Regards,

    Devin

    sure i tried every size;

    i think your solution is not sufficient, as i have few more pages with full width template…

    maybe problem is that i increased the space of the header section or what?

    and of course the problem occurs on all full width pages

    Hi Qcor,

    Remove .page-id-1380 from the code Devin provided and add this body.fullwidth in the front so the code looks like this:

    body.fullwidth #top #featured {
    height: 320px !important;
    }

    This should set the height to 320 pixels for all full width pages.

    Let us know how it goes :)

    i did as recommended. The main picture is larger but there is still empty space between bottom of the picture and frame... It looks like some padding or what?

    Hi,

    Please try this.

    body.fullwidth #top #featured {
    height: 100% !important;
    }

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Hi Qcor,

    From what I can tell looking at your webpage, the height from the code above is not being recognized so let’s try this. In your style.css search for the following code:

    #featured, .featured, .fadeout, .newsselect {
    height: 360px;
    }

    It’s around line 426 if you’re using a HTML editor. Now replace 360 to 320.

    Let us know if that works.

    Regards,

    Mya

    but i don’t want to change the height of the image slider on the main page :(

    only height of the static picture on the fullwitdh page

    Hi Qcor,

    Sorry about that I forgot to include the body.fullwidth so for my code it would be this:

    body.fullwidth #featured, .featured, .fadeout, .newsselect {
    height: 360px;
    }

    You may want to try Ismael’s first though.

    Mya

    hmmm

    the code witch works is

    body.fullwidth #featured, .featured, .fadeout, .newsselect {

    height: 320px !important;

    so the frame of the picture is now 320 px height and not 360 which was to high

    but this code affects also a main page image slider in which pictures become smaller (320px) so there is blank space between bottom border and bottom edge of the picture. So to conclude

    the given code affects border height on the fullwidth page

    but

    it also affects image height on the main page slider

    I’M LOST or i’m wrong?

    Hey!

    You can try to add a special height value for the homepage too:

    body.home.fullwidth #featured, .home .featured, .home .fadeout,.home .newsselect {
    height: 360px !important;
    }

    Regards,

    Peter
