I would like a buttom to show me only the menu with the different galleries, i want to erase the website that appears when you click on it, how do i do this?

when uploading media you can edit the url it links to. When you’ve just selected/uploaded your image you can change the “Link URL” to either None, File URL or Post URL or to anything you want, I believe the site you’ve linked to uses the File URL.

I tried to change the url of a image of the gallery to a video url but it doesnt work. when i click the image it keeps showing the photo and doesnt show the video why do you think this is happening??

Flashlight doesn’t support video lightbox links for images. Some users requested this feature too and Kriesi looks into it atm.

In this website they are using vimeo videos :!prettyPhoto

how did they do it then ?

Based on the code I’d say that they included standard video links in the content like shown onm the demo site here:

where in flashlight i have to add this script if I want it to work in the gallery and how do I edit the links apart from the option it gives me when i UPLOAD the pictures because i need to add this tag rel=”prettyPhoto” to the links ….???

You don’t need to add rel=”prettyPhoto” to uploaded gallery images – it will be applied automatically. You can add your video links like:

    <a href="" rel="prettyPhoto" title=""><img src="images/thumbnails/flash-logo.jpg" alt="YouTube" /></a>

to your text content (I think you need to use “html” view). Replace the a href element with your video and “images/thumbnails/flash-logo.jpg” with any image – i.e. with one which is part of your media gallery.

Oh thanks works for all videos except vimeo:S

    I wrote this code :

    <a href=""><img src="" alt="YouTube" /></a>

Is there anything different for vimeo videos?

    oh got it

I managed to put the pictures with video link this way:

But i still have 2 problems

    1. I put them in the header, where is the html to put them under it like in the gallery you have when you upload pictures?

2.Is ther any way they can look like in the gallery with grey background and some text? and have more than 1 column?

just wanted to add i want the columns to be more or less dipending on the size of the window just as it happens in the gallery.. thanks¡¡

You can use the column shortcodes (like the person here: ) to create a columnn based layout. Replicating the exact same “gallery” style is difficult but you can wrap your video links into divs and use tools like Firebug to find the necessary css code. I’d wait a bit because Kriesi probably will release an update for video galleries too.

In which html should I put my code for the pics to be showed in the gallery and not in the gallery header???

As far as I know it’s not possible to integrate text/html content (and these video links) into the gallery – you can display it in the text areas only.
